The Colas sign is routed in Valchromat — through-coloured MDF where the colour runs all the way through the board, so routed edges and raised shapes need no paint.
The mark and lettering are routed in layers from vector artwork and assembled into a triangular sign. The clip shows the router working through the board and the sign coming off the bed ready for finishing.
The same method suits reception signs, wayfinding and marks that have to take touch and use without chipping.
