Slatted wall as a room divider

The hall opened straight into the living room. Instead of a solid wall we built a floor-to-ceiling slat wall in a dark wood finish that defines the spaces while keeping light and sightlines. The slats are fixed to ceiling and floor with concealed fixings and echo the existing dark ceiling cladding. The surround of the bench beside it we wrapped in interior film in the same dark finish.
