About this service

Metal fabrication at Preiss Workshop is done in-house and designed from the start to work with the joinery, glass and lighting of the project: handrails, structures, frames, furniture bases, brackets and decorative details in steel, aluminium and brass. Welded, ground and fitted to the rest of the work.

The finish is chosen for the use — powder coating, electroplating in copper, nickel or gold, or a clear coat that protects the material. The black steel handrail with the oak top rail and the gold-plated HK wall lights show how metal, wood and lighting are made as one piece.

We take on single pieces as well as metalwork that is part of a larger interior.

Frequently asked questions
Do you make handrails?

Yes, railings and stair handrails in steel and wood, modelled in 3D and CNC-cut, powder-coated or otherwise finished.

Which finishes do you offer for metal?

Powder coating in a chosen colour, electroplating in copper, nickel or gold, mirror polishing and clear lacquer.

Can you combine metal, wood and lighting in one piece?

Yes, that is the core of what we do — the metal is designed together with the joinery and lighting from the first drawing.
